Reactions between alkanoyl chlorides and <I>F</I>-propene or <I>F</I>-chloroethene with fluoride ion were investigated. While alkyl (<I>F</I>-isopropyl) ketones and 1-(<I>F</I>-isopropyl)alkenol esters were formed in the former case, 1-(<I>F</I>-1-chloroethyl)alkenol esters were exclusively obtained in the latter case. Reaction mechanisms are discussed.
