Hydrogen molybdenum bronze, H0.3MoO3, heated in vacuo was studied by FT-IR spectroscopy. The spectrum near 1000 cm−1 analyzed by a microcomputer system was confirmed to be composed of three bands. Among them, bands at 1005 and 990 cm−1 correspond to the Mo=O bonds of orthorhombic bronze and rhombic MoO3, respectively.
