• The first example of application of sulfenamides for ring expansion on nitrogen atom has been reported to give 1,4,2,5-dithiadiazines (<B>3</B>) from 1,4,2-dithiazolium salts (<B>1</B>). The structure of <B>3</B> was confirmed by X-ray crystallographic analysis. The similar ring expansion reaction occurred on 1,3-dithiolium salts (<B>5</B>) to afford 1,4,2-dithiazines (<B>6</B>).
