The dialkylamino-substituted heteroaromatic cations, such as 1,2,4-diselenazolium, 1,2-diselenolium, 1,3,5-selenadiazinium, and 1,3-selenazinium cations, were newly synthesized, and their <I>S</I>-analogs were also obtained through similar procedures.
