One hundred and forty seven patients with facial bone fractures were treated during the past 6 years and 3 months. Thirteen of them had malar bore fractures. All of these were reduced effectively by the trans-antral approach. For fixation, in 12 cases Foley catheters were placed in the maxillary sinuses. In 3 cases, additional interosseous wiring was done at the zygomatico-frontal sutures. In all 13 cases, good results were obtained by this method.
