Fourty-five cases of infected fractures including 20 tibias, 19 femurs and 6 others. Twenty fractures out of 45 were treated by osteosynthesis.While the flare-up occured in 3 cases operated within 3 months after complete healing of the infections, no flare-up was experienced in the cases which were operated after over 3 months of healing of the infections.
