Twenty-seven abnormal findings, which were observed at one year of age on CDH in 25 infancies treated with Pavlik's bandage, were followed up until 5 to 8 years of age. The abnormal findings were hypoplasia of the acetabular roof, lateralization and epiphysitis of the femoral head.The follow-up results of 27 hips showed anatomical healing in the 21 hips (77.8%), and the causes of unsatisfactory results were considered to mainly osteochondritis of the femoral head.
