A 40 year-old male complaining severe pain on his left acromioclavicular joint was admitted in our clinic.X-ray examination revealed osteolytic change of the left acromion.The excised tissue was diagnosed histologically as chronic osteomyelitis. No response was obtained on chemotherapy against the supposed osteomyelitis. On bone marrow puncture, atypical cells resembling lymphocyte and reticulum cell were identified occupying about 30% of bone marrow cells, characteristic to malignant lymphoma.Intensive chemotherapy took place however, without improvement and the patient passed away three months later.
