The frequencies of both spontaneous and MMC induced SCEs and the cell cycle kinetics are compared in peripheral blood lymphocytes from patients with the cri du chat syndrome and karyotypically normal controls. The results reveal that in the frequencies of SCEs and the cell cycle kinetics there are no significant differences between the two groups.
