A case of 66 years old female with spindle cell variant of squamous cell carcinoma in cervical region is presented. Grossly, the tumor was polypous and showed no infiltration into the basal area. Histologically, it was squamous cell carcinoma which showed marked myxosarcomatous spindle cell differentiation with diffuse stromal mucin formation. Although this histologic pattern is not frequently, one must be aware of this entity in differential diagnosis.
