As the results of quantitative and chronological determination of total fat and triglyceride in the content of the small intestine after administration of soybean oil, lard, and butter in albino rats to study the digestion, addition of starch resulted in a definitely better digestion, probably due to the increase in lipase and bilious substance and augmentation of chylifaction of fat in the small intestine.
