The discovery of choline acetylase (1) has revealed the position of acetylcholine (ACh) in general metabolism. In view of the fact that certain drugs including narcotics and convulsants have some effects on ACh metabolism of brain, it is reasonable to suppose that some of these drugs might associate with the activity of choline acetylase.<BR>In this paper, we have studied several, problems regarding choline acetylase, especially the effects of certain drugs on this enzyme.
