The accuracy of analytical method and the personal error of analyst were examined with drying method for determination of moisture in tea. Moisture content of the same lot of sample tea was determined by 14 analysts in the usual manner.<BR>The accuracy of analysis was computed as C.V. 1.24% the error accompanied with a single determination by an analyst was C.V. 4.84% and that with a mean value of double determinations by an analyst was C. V. 4.76 % .<BR>The following procedure is decided as an official method for determination of moisture of tea.<BR>Dry 2 g. of pulverized tea to constant weight in an oven at 95-100°C. Report loss in weight as moisture.
