1. The colour intensity of liquor of the guri tea for export was measured by OSTWALD's method.<BR>The transmittancy percents of the liquor were measured by using an electric photometer with a cobalt blue filter (sperr filter) and a red one (pass filter), and the colour was indi-cated by OSTWALD'S colour system.<BR>2. The colour intensity of liquor of 9 kinds of Chinese tea from the market of Africa was. also measured by this method, and the colour was deeper than that of Japanese tea.
