A coupled-channel method based on a coupling scheme built with a wave function of the soft-rotator model was employed for an analysis of nucleon scattering data for 52Cr. The parameters of the soft-rotator model were extracted to reproduce experimental collective levels of 52Cr up to excitation energy of around 4.5 MeV. The optical model potential and deformation parameters were searched for. It was found that the present calculation can explain experimental nucleon interaction data up to 200 MeV very well.
