The purpose of this study was to investigate wear of five CAD/CAM composite resins in comparison to one CAD/CAM ceramic block as reference material. Volume losses were measured after 10,000 wear cycles with water (as two-body wear) and poppy seed (as three-body wear) using a ball-on-disc sliding device, and analyzed with 2-way ANOVA and Tamhane comparison. Two-way ANOVA suggested an interaction. The volume loss of all materials for two-body wear was significantly greater than that for three-body wear. One CAD/CAM composite block showed heavier damage compared to the other products.
