A phenomenon occurring in the alginate-based beads is reported which involves the long fibrous matrices formation through over the microspherical substrate. The ionic solution containing the alginate combined with calcium phosphate allowed the generation of such formed scaffolds, and the system is considered to find useful 3D matrix for tissue and cell culture.
