A study to consider the role of the university in the implementation of recurrent education targeting yogo teachers (School Nurses) was carreid out, based on the implementation of the recurrent education at University A. According to the opinion of persons participating in the recurrent education, the need to support yogo teachers as they improve their qualifications and skills was felt. The role of the university in recurrent education is to "integrate learning and experience" and "reconstruct experiences." In particular, recurrent education at graduate school can be linked to student development at the university and in-service training. Moreover, the qualifications and skills of teachers gradually take shape gradually, not just through training, but also through teaching activities. This requires acquiring high professionalism and an awareness of strict social responsibilities. Consequently, the voluntary participation by graduates and the active implementation of recurrent education even at the university level are needed, and should, without question, be continuously and systematically carried out. For the participants of recurrent education at this time, contents of the training needed to be more practical and specific, such as emergency aid procedures, diagnostic judgement for hospital admission, and preparation of a health newsletter were required. However, if only the needs of training are addressed, this would only result in the expansion of the secondary servies, of the university, and it would be hard to position yogo teacher training as recurrent education. When considering the role of university in recurrent education, a more comprehensive viewpoint is needed in the meaning of such recurrent education, in order to determine the "integration of learning and experience" and "reconstruction of experiences."
