概要

Formaldehyde (FA) adsorbing potency was estimated by eliminating FA hydration. The bark of Ijxrix kaempferi is shown to adsorb FA in the atmosphere effectively and irreversibly compared with other reported natural materials. The components responsible for the adsorption are assumed to be condensed tannins as determined by chemical and spectral evidence.
