Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are promising and used in different application. WSN nodes operate on battery power and changing batteries is difficult. Therefore, reducing energy consumption is important in WSNs where communication unit consumes largest energy. Therefore development of proper transmission power control algorithm contributes reducing energy consumption. In this paper, we propose transmission power control algorithm based on Fuzzy Logic System. This algorithm is featured by control of transmission power in both sender and receiver to save more energy. The simulation results show this algorithm is efficient in providing both high energy saving and good link quality.
