under water wireless sensor networks poses many unique challenges in the design and development of wireless communication and routing protocols, because of the uniqueness of having water as the medium for communication. Unlike the ground based terrestrial networks which use electromagnetic waves for communication, underwater networks use acoustic sound for communication. Acoustic wireless communications are the typical physical layer technology in underwater networks, they pose unique challenges due to the harsh underwater environment such as limited bandwidth, high and variable propagation delays, high bit error rates and temporary losses of connectivity caused by multipath and fading phenomena and asymmetric links. Our proposed network scheme helps us to build a novel system that collects data using an underwater vehicle from over sensor nodes that are deployed on a wide area on the ocean floor. We divide the sensor nodes into priority groups and collect data from the groups based on a scenario, this system is simulated using CDMA and the performance is analyzed based on Packet Error Ratio Functions.
