Utilizing a triangular aperture for high-density "near-field recording" is thought to be one of the most promising breakthroughs to realize both higher spatial resolution and higher signal output simultaneously. We have already reported 300 nm to 100 nm line-and-space patterns readout performances of the triangular aperture, clarifying the influence of the polarization direction on the readout signals. This paper reports signal output performance in radial direction (tracking characteristics) using linearly arranged line-and-space patterns.
