The shear bond strength between the resin cements and zirconia was significantly high in 1% silane primer group, independent of the resin cements used. Using silane primer, the resin cement of better degree of conversion (Choice 2) was effective in bonding to zirconia. Without a silane primer, the resin cements containing MDP (Clearfil SA luting and Panavia F2.0) were effective in bonding to zirconia.
