• A new advanced hull maintenance information service called "PrimeShip-HULLCare" has been developed by ClassNK. The service offers digitized survey data to shipowners and classification surveyors using the latest IT technology. This paper presents an outline of a methodology for digitizing survey records as well as new software developed for the service and discusses the future of IT technology in the ship maintenance field.
