In this research, ideal teachers who teachers think are preferred by students are discussed. Teachers usually do their best to teach students, but their intentions are not understood by their students. Teachers think of education from their own perspectives which may be different from students' ones. This causes a problem and this research will give suggestions to teachers. The data of this research was collected from technical college teachers who knew students' responses by means of questionnaires. The realms focused on in the research are communication between teachers and students, enjoyable classes, the development of students' personalities and fairness in coping with students. The range of the analysis does not end at what characteristics of teachers students prefer but includes the relations of students and teachers. Friendly teachers, not authoritative teachers are recommended as the ideal figure of teachers. It is also stressed that teachers should acquire techniques to make communication smooth.
