The author injected the acetic acid solutions of various concentrations in the rabbits and observed systematically their respect effect on the blood pressure and pulse by meanse of bloodless method. By intravenous injection of 0.5 c.c. of 10 % solution, a rapid change was caused immediately after injection. The maximal blood pressure was decreased on the average by 19 mm Hg, while the minimai was decreased on the average by 16mm Hg. The pulse curve amplitude showed the decrease on the average of 24mm. These changes were restored to normal' after the lapse on the average of 20 minutes. About in this stage, the pulse rate showed the minimal number in the majority of cases. Much same changes were caused by the intravenous injection of 0.5 c.c. of 6 % solution per Kg and were slight in degree. Intravenous injection of 0.5 c.c. of 3 % solution per Kg caused no marked change in blood pressure and pulse rate, and a slight decrease in the pulse curve amplitude immediately after injection. Subcutaneous injection of 0.5 c.c. of 10 % solution per Kg caused the slow decreases in the maximal and minimal blood pressure and the largest decrease appeared on the average 25 minutes after injection. That is to say, the average decrease of 15 mm Hg was caused in the maximal blood pressure and the average decrease of 12.5mm Hg in the minimal blood pressure. After the decrease, the maximal and the minimal blood pressure were gradually increased and restored to the value before injection within an hour in many cases. No definite changes was recognized in the pulse curve amplitude and a slight increase was caused in the pulse rate immediately after injection in the majority of cases.
