Anomalously Wide Superconducting Phase of One-Dimensional Organic Conductor (TMTTF)_2SbF_6(Condensed matter: electronic structure and electrical, magnetic, and optical properties)

We measured the temperature dependence of resistivity of (TMTTF)_2SbF_6 under high pressures up to 10GPa. We observed superconductivity in the title compound for the first time when the high pressure exceeded 5GPa. The local maximum of the superconducting transition temperatures was T_c=2.8K at 6 and 9GPa. The superconducting phase of (TMTTF)_2SbF_6 was observed in an anomalously wide pressure range of 5.4<P≤9GPa. We discuss this particular superconducting phase and the electron correlation phase of (TMTTF)_2SbF_6 under high pressure.
