On the way of ubiquitous computing, wireless sensor network is an emerging field. An important goal in designing protocols and applications for such networks is energy efficiency. So there are lots of works following cluster formation for energy efficiency. But there is no sensible work for semantic clustering. In this paper, we propose a Fuzzy based Semantic Clustering Routing Protocol (FSCRP) for wireless sensor network. This protocol, controlled by base station (sink), distributes energy to the overall network. During clustering, considering criteria of base station are signal strength, neighboring nodes and semantic properties. For cluster heads' selection and routing members' selection, base station uses fuzzy logic approach. Simulation results show, this proposed fuzzy based protocol outperforms Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) protocol [3], a popular clustering protocol.
