Several localization systems exist like Global Positioning System, indoor localization, and cellular phone location determination. These localization systems depend on fixed infrastructures like satellites, indoor sensors and cell base stations and each system accuracy and application differ in great scale. We present a Relative Positioning System that does not require pre-installed infrastructures, reference points or pre-defined coordinate systems for tracking and positioning aimed to help locate persons in emergency situations at short to medium range distances in areas of complex layout and low visibility.
