This study aims at the construction of a comfortable interactive system between humans and machines. At first, this system recognizes human being and discriminates a face area, and finally presumes the facial expression. On this data processing, our system can interactively answer to people with voice for communication and can take a certain operation in consideration of the expression. In this paper, we especially pay attention to facial expressions and automatically classifications of expression candidates:"joy,""anger,""sadness,""surprise". Finally, some subjects on this study are extracted and are considered as the key technologies, which aim at the systems configuration to the future.
