犬における腎細胞癌の播種性転移に伴う肥大性骨症 : 症例報告(病理学)

6歳の雑種で,去勢されてない雄犬が受診1ヶ月前に左手根骨接合部の腫張と前肢の脆弱症状を示した.症状は,両側手根と足根骨接合部の腫張と四肢麻痺へと叙々に進行した.腋下部骨格においてで溶解性増殖性骨病変がX線像で確認された.中手骨と全ての遠位長骨にも肥大性骨症が顕著であった.患犬のQOLが低下し,予後不良とみなされたため,患犬を安楽死させ,全身解剖を行った.本症例は,肺,胸椎,肋骨,右副腎に転移を伴う腎細胞癌と診断された.著者らが知っているかぎりでは,犬における骨転移と肥大性骨症を伴う腎細胞癌は過去に報告はない.
