The ultrasonic motor in which structure differs from the conventional ultrasonic motor was invented. In this paper, verification and evaluation of the drive performance of this ultrasonic motor and its application to the catheter medical treatment in a blood vessel were performed. Rotation speed of the motor was measured in the verification and evaluation of a drive performance. Moreover, it succeeded in the underwater drive of the micro motor (diameter is 1.0mm) in application to catheter medical treatment.
