マルチスライスCT画像を用いた肺がん検診の読影能の評価

近年開発されたマルチスライスヘリカルCTは、従来のヘリカルCTと違い1回のスキャンで複数枚のCT画像を得ることができる.そのため同じスキャン時間でも従来に比べて多くの画像が得られ、スライス間隔の小さい鮮明な画像が得られることとなった.スライス間隔が小さくなることにより異常陰影がより鮮明に写ると考えられ、専門医による読影に関しても診断能が向上することが期待できる.そこで、本報告では同一の被験者から得られた2mm厚と10mm厚のマルチスライスCT画像を読影医が合議制による読影実験を行った結果について報告する.読影実験の条件は、被検者数360人、撮影期間2000年9月〜2001年9月、読影医は国立がんセンターの医師6名である.
