Childcare records of a child with autistic spectrum disorder who has received mainstream childcare for four years were analyzed. Development changes of the child became clear and it also became clear how the nursery school teacher understood the child. When the nursery school teacher was able to understand the meaning of a child's behavior, the child settled down and the child's development was promoted. Since mental instability of a child with autistic spectrum disorder has meaning, it pointed out that it is important to understand the meaning of the mental instability. Moreover, it became clear that it is effective to apply PAC analysis for research and childcare of mainstream nursery schools. Based on these results, development of the relationships between the child and the nursery school teacher and the effectiveness of PAC analysis were discussed.
