韓国における在宅高齢者の主観的幸福感の研究 : 趣味生活・グループ活動・老人福祉館の利用との関連

The purpose of this study was to analyze the subjective well-being of the elder Koreans being in home viewed from their hobby, group activities, and the degree of using welfare institution. The analysis was based on the data from 118 men and 197 women aged 65 and older in seoul. First, it was found the individual leisures symbolized by "having a hobby" and group activities "sports activities" were positively related to their subjective well -being. Also it was found that "welfare facilities" had positive influence on their well-being. Secondly, according to the Multiple Regression Analysis, the result showed that their subjective well -being statistically most strongly regressed on "health conditions" and next to degree of using "welfare facilities". And all of the variables mentioned above totally accounted for 34.6% of the variance of subjective well-being. Finally, it is suggested that the mechanism in which how the use of welfare institution by the elderly have an influence on their subjective well-being needs to be clarified.
