脱親期における中高年の「自尊感情」の研究 : その影響要因の探索に向けて

The purpose of this paper was to measure the effect of the influential factors on the self-esteem of the middle and older aged men and women in the post-parenthood. Data was obtained from 294 middle and older aged-men and women who live in N-ku, Kobe City, through the questionnaire method. As statistical techniques for the analysis of data, Factor analysis, One-way variance analysis, and Multi-regression analysis were employed to test whether or not there exist relationships between the influential factors and respondent's self-esteem. The main findings were as follows : 1) The respondent's attributes such as "age" "health condition" "living standard" "last school education" and "occupation" had an influence on their self-esteem. 2) One-way variance analysis showed that among the independent variables, "a sense of the serviceable" and "feel life worth living" had an influence on their self-esteem. 3) Multi-regression analysis showed that the influence of all independent variables was statistically regressed on the following two factors : (1) health condition and (2) a sense of the serviceable within and outside family.
