Cephalopods collected with a bottom trawl, beam trawl and dredge at 90-1000 m (mostly at 100-500 m) depths in the continental slope of the East China Sea and off Nansei Islands during 2000-2004, in addition to those exhibited and deposited in the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, were examined. More than 750 specimens were available, and 45 species from 14 families were identified. The registered number, catch date, locality and depth are given for all specimens, along with a brief note on previous records and systematic remarks for each species.
