Cephalopods collected with a bottom trawl and a beam trawl at 150-1000m depth (mostly at 200-600m) in Suruga Bay during 1993-1996 were examined. In total, 1157 cephalopods were collected and 23 species from 10 families were identified. Six species were new records from the bay. The specimens registered numbers, catch positions and depths for all species collected, along with a brief note on previous records and systematic remarks, are given. The bathyal cephalopod fauna of Suruga Bay is similar to that of the Pacific coast of western Japan. A zoogeographical border extending to the bathyal zone between subtropical and temperate zones appears to occur near Choshi, central Japan.
