Change in electrical resistivity and densification were measured on the compacts of copper-nickel powder mixture, 50 Cu-50 Ni, which were sintered isothermally at various temperature from 500° to 900℃ in hydrogen. On the basis of the experimental data the homogenization and the sintering process in the compact were analysed graphically, and it is proposed that, in the compact from two diffusible metal powder, the sintering process may be proceeding through three different stages. Moreover, in this work, it was proved that the measurement of the electrical resistivity can be an useful tool in the analysis of sintering process involved a homogenization of phase.
