By using pure lead or 1 per cent Ag alloy anode and by varying the amount of lead peroxide particle dispersed in cell, zinc electrolysis was conducted. It was found that the lead peroxide particles were occluded to the cathode zinc, as commonly known. In some examples, an assumption was made on the ratio of lead quantities transferred to zinc from respective course of ionic deposition and occlusion of particle, in comparison with the results given in the previous paper. However, it was impossible to try a comparison of all runs except some cases that the lead ion concentration was relatively small, because the lead peroxide particle dissolved easily into electrolyte solution during electrolysis.
