• Waseda University Library has a special collection called "Islam Library". In 1938, the "Dainihon Kaikyo Kyokai" (in English, Greater Japan Muslim League ) was established with the support of Japanese Military Forces for the purpose of promoting Islamic studies and creating friendly relations with Islamic nations. The above mentioned collection was donated by an ex-member of the "Dainihon Kaikyo Kyokai" after its dissolution in 1945. It includes in-house printed research papers and materials, and also handwritten papers and so on. The academic evaluation of the collection in all have not yet been done. The author introduce what is content of "Islam Library" and discuss the research agenda in the future.
