• Fifteen genera and 64 species of Parmelia (sens. lat.) are listed on the basis of Thailand specimens preserved in the National Science Museum. Of these, 14 species are reported for the first time from Thailand, and Canoparmelia concresscens (Vain.) Elix & Hale is the first record outside Africa.
