概要

• The immature stages of Antanartia abyssinica are described and illustrated for the first time together with some notes on larval behaviour. This species is considerably different from A. schaeneia and A. hippomene in the larval and pupal structures. This species is quite similar to species of Vanessa in the external characters and habits of the immature stages.
