The magnetizations of a mixed Ising ferrimagnetic system consisting of spin -1/2 and spin -1 with different transverse fields are investigated. We find that a compensation point induced by the different transverse fields is obtained as well as the typical temperature dependences of magnetization usually found in crystalline ferrimagnetic alloys, although the system never exhibits any compensation point for the zero transverse fields.
