The total heat of dissociation of silver aggregates in silver chloride crystal doped with sulphur is studied as a function of the sulphur concentration by measuring the anomalotus specific heat of the crystals. The endothermic and exothermic reactions are derived based on a model consisting of two trap levels which trap the dissociated silver atoms in the crystal. The calculations are fitted to the experimental results.
