The amplitude and frequency dependences of sharp peaks in internal friction versus temperature curves in silver chloride crystals are studied. For a peak at higher temperatures, the amplitude and frequency dependences are abnormal; the peak temperature is higher for larger amplitudes and for lower frequencies. This phenomenon is explained by the fine structure of each pinning point in the dense row of large colloids. This idea is incorporated in the previous model of simultaneous liberation of dense pinning points on dislocations resulting in sharp peaks. For a peak at lower temperatures, no amplitude and frequency dependences are observed unless the frequency is very high, this phenomenon is also explained by the same theory.
