Growth by the Flux Method and Transport Properties of Sr_<14-x>Ca_xCu_<24>O_<41> Single Crystals

Single crystals of Sr_<14-x>Ca_xCu_<24>O_<41> with dimensions on the order of 1×0.05×1.5mm^3 (x = 0) and 0.3×0.05×2 mm^3 (x = 6.8) have been grown using NaCl as a flux. Anisotropic properties of the electrical resistivity and the thermoelectric power of these single crystals have also been investigated.
