犬の舌筋と真皮における限局性石灰沈着症の1例(短報)(病理学)

10歳,雄のシーズーが1週間に渡るフケ症と舌腹側の白色腫瘤を主訴に上診した.肉眼的には,直径3から4mm大の2個の白色隆起が舌下部に認められた.顕微鏡的には,潰瘍化した表皮部に,無構造好塩基性顆粒状の密なカルシウム塩沈着が,軽度な炎症を伴った疎な線維性結合組織で区画されていた.多くの筋束は,石灰沈着を伴った変性筋線維で置換されていた.石灰沈着の厳密な原因は特定できなかったが,限局性石灰沈着症と軽度な栄養性ミオパチーの異なる2つの病変が,舌のみに限局して同時に認められる点は興味深いと思われた.
