Differences in X-ray images between frequently ill patients and ordinary employees were found as follows. (1) Abnormal images of the scalp were found in 21 subjects among 35 frequently ill patients (i.e. 60%), while in ordinary employees this ratio was 9 out of 30 (i.e. 30%). The difference in ratios is significant at 97.5% level. (2) Abnormal images of the scalp are not a phenomenon characteristic of frequently ill patients, but they appear in premenstrual period and during menstruation of normal persons. However, while they disappear in the rest part of the period in normal persons, they persist in frequently ill patients regardless of the menstrual phase. (3) As to the image of Turkish saddle, the width of the entrance and the depth are similar in dimension, but in frequently ill patients those who show shallower images are found relatively often as compared with the ordinary employees.
