DNA-dependent RNA polymerase I (A) in cauliflower inflorescence is exclusively solubilised when the tissue is homogenized with TGMED-buffer (50 mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0, 5 mM MgCl_2, 0.1 mM EDTA, 1 mM dithiothreitol, 25% glycerol) containing 0.6 M (NH_4)_2SO_4 and 20% Polyclar-AT (polyvinypyrrolidone).
